The title says it all basically stream sniping is kind of targeting where you watch the person's stream and get in the same game with him and track his location thru the steam and kill him

It depends on the game, cause if you’re targeting them that’s obviously unfair but no for the most part.

Not targeting but using their stream as your own advantage maybe if you like start fighting with them and they hide you can know their location and stuffIt depends on the game, cause if you’re targeting them that’s obviously unfair but no for the most part.

Targeting is bannable in some games. And by definition, "aiming an attack [...] at a particular person" (which is totally the case for stream sniping) is targeting so I would say yes. As Pineapple said, I guess it depends on the situation though

Targeting isn’t bannable in all games, it’s only bannable in the ones the rule book specifically mentions it is. We haven’t gone over banning people in all games for targeting

It's listed in the "Server Wide" section in the rule thread though. And I've already banned a player for targeting in MM too

I meant Warrior's rules thread. It's saying that it applies in all servers. Sorry if I was misunderstood.
A few months ago. Someone would always pick up the sherif gun to shoot a particular player. It happened at least 4 times, so I considered it as targeting.

You’re fine cap! We should definitely gather up the staff and see how everyone feels about targeting being a rule in every mini game. Until then we should treat it as a rule only existence in certain games, cause that’s what it’s always been.
