Is Minecraft better than fortnite?

It's a personal preference. I don't see why people compare the two.
Opinions aren't right or wrong, despite what people say about one.

Personally, Fortnite looks promising, exclude the community and currency. I generally don't like playing sandbox games because there's nothing for me to work for.

No its not promising, from what I've heard its just full of 11 year olds who snort G-fuel for breakfast and Will send vulgar messages at you for taking their legendary super cool epic amazing machine gun fun juice.

Uhhh....

my best friend plays it and he's one of the sweetest people I've ever met.

But anyway.... I don't like Fortnite because I couldn't get the hang of it. Then they added those stupid monster things. Yeah I quit that game a while ago.

I don’t think it’s fair to judge the entire fortnite fan base off of something you’ve heard

people used to say Minecraft players were all cringey 9 year olds who wear creeper shirts and hoodies everyday but look at us!

It depends on your genre preference and your tolerance of the 9-year-old armies.

Personally, I like Minecraft better because of the ability to create and play many varieties of adventure maps (plus modding).

Honestly, it seems mostly out of assumption without playing the game itself. I don’t judge either because I’ve never player Fortnite, but my friends (who have not played it at all) only say “Fortnite sucks”
But opinions don’t have a right or wrong answer, as said before. One of my bestest friends here in this community plays both Minecraft and Fortnite, but he prefers Minecraft more. So it always makes me wonder “why make such rude assumptions about the game when you haven’t tried it yourself?” Assumptions aren’t always correct, they can always change when first tested out. (Lol sorry I rambled a bit I just wanted to toss this out there)

Correct. I honestly believe that the only thing that should define a game is its content and how good it is. Communities shouldn't be a discouragement for newcomers.

Fortnite isn't even that bad, people just hate it because it killed Minecraft. People also say it's being the community is filled with 9-year-olds that rage, but to the people that say that have they ever played Minecraft?
BTW people are saying fortnite is dying, when it's clearly not when you look at daily statistics, fortnite is literally making more money than minecraft.

Any community is toxic, no matter how you look at it.
