Is crossteaming bannable?

I play mainly MicroBattles and sometimes TeamSkyWars but when my friends get separated and are on different teams we 'Cross team' I think I heard saying it was alright a while back but now some new players say you can get banned, since I Cross team quite a lot.

So I want to clarify is it alright to Cross Team?

There is problem about cross team but there is a rule about cross team but its not confirmed yet,just before cross teaming,just not try to cross team every match,cause cross team kinda unfair sometimes and people might get mad.
