invincibility

a million people have probably already said this, but why is the invincibility time so long? like if I kill them, and they respawn right next to me, they can kill me even if I'm on full health before I can even hit them.

Same with quake the invincibility time is really annoying and degrades the skill of the game. It was added to stop spawn camping and targeting but for both games the timer is absurdly long.

Quake should have no invincibility and Oitc just a few seconds imo
