Instance closed? What?

Someone please help me
I got disconnected and a thing popped up saying instance closed
What does it mean?

it happens to me sometimes too . . . it happens when i open another application and run it , it hide Minecraft and i think the server think you are disconnected

It usually means you have disconnected. Either because you closed minecraft to open another app, or due to the lag killibg the device
