Not really much of a point to add that game especially when (the only official server that isn't bad but still mediocre at best) has it. This is true and so the effort may not be worth it especially saying people may just play death run on other servers and not brokenlens.
Also it would take a lot of effort compared to other game concepts to add for Vertx to add. He would have to be overseeing every building of naps by the builders and work with them at an absurdly constant basis. Map submitting from community for the game would be hard too or impossible because of this.
I don't think this game would die, but it wouldn't be absurdly popular. Don't forget that hackers could use speed and instantly win games and so the game would possibly be MW level swarm of hackers in games. The concept of death run just doesn't work as a game on brokenlens.
