I tried with my friend's account. Twice he did the Murder. Nothing has been solved ...

The game picks roles randomly. So, it really is luck whether you get murderer or not. The expression Lucas was telling you, represents a rough percentage of whether you would get murderer or sheriff, where x represents the players in the MM round.
For example, If there was 20 players in that round, then there would be a 1/20 chance of getting murderer... that is a 5% chance of getting murd when converted to a decimal.
Your friend was really lucky to get murderer twice in a row... it is even rarer and the math is more complex so I won't even go into that. It's just mainly luck.
