I hate it when you report a hacker and don't do the format or whatever the hell you want to call it and then someone comes and is like "please freaking use the player report format" THEY DO IT CONSTANTLY! I will do it when I am not doing other things... Also I have reasons for why we should just stop doing any formats or whatever
1. Its the staff members job to look at the video and not give the player the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this because what if the user reporting tryped the wrong username or something...
2. It wastes time... I know you can write it in like 2 minutes but that could be two minutes that you could have playing the game, enjoying your time, catching another hacker, stopping the other hacker faster
3. It's just stupid
Plus what are staff even going to do about it when we don't use the format... Ban us??? Stop allowing us to report people...

You can do it if you want to... I am not saying to stop. I even use the format when I feel like it, but just shut up with the "PLEASE USE THE CORRECT FORMAT FOR REPORTING PEOPLE"
 
The format can be helpful for staff members though. It gives information about the report that may or may not be provided in the screenshot. Also, the extra two minutes it takes for us to write the report can be two minutes less a staff member has to spend looking at a report.

Ok. It's true that It sometimes wastes our time, but staff members aren't bots and I'm sure that they have a lot of work to do, so by doing the format, we saves their time. And yeah, doing the report 1 min longer won't kill us xD

If you don’t want to use the format it’s okay... But write at least the name, it’s faster for the staff and when you need to find a report for ban appeals. The location, the reason and the tags are not really useful

you don't have to use the complete format though, just write the ign and reason. that's what i do, and it takes you like... 1 min

i dont use the format at all , and all my reports are juged and the player banned , just do something clear :

SCREEN
NAME
GAME
REASON .


thats what i do , simple , clear , and i dont respect the format at all and it works .

That’s exactly the format Builder xD

  • IGN: In-Game Name
  • Reason: Provide us which rule the player has broken.
  • Server: The server where you saw the rule-breaker
  • Evidence: Screenshots and/or videos of the player(s) breaking the rules.

Whenever you handle hundreds of reports everyday, copying and pasting a username is a huge help - it saves us time, we aren’t asking you to go to the ends of the earth.

I’m not trying to seem like a mean bean or anything, because I could completely understand if you’re in a rush or too busy to write down the username - but it’s really not a huge deal, it’s nothing to complain over either.
We aren’t gonna ban someone for not following some silly format.

It’s helpful whenever people write the reason too, because then we’ll know what to look for.
Yes, it’s our jobs to notice these type of things - but if you’d like that ‘rule breaker’ to be banned ASAP to make your gameplay and everyone else’s better, it’s so much easier whenever we can just check the username, then copy and paste it. :giggle:

Be right back, let me just record a 10 minutes video and make it a player report. Good luck staff! You don't need a simple timestampt or name, it's too much work for me to just provide an username and timestamp, I'm an anti format person, I know it won't save you time :lmao:

And you don't even need the game unless it makes a difference in how long the ban is or if they can get banned (map glitch exploiting for example you should say the game)
