The next day the town gathered at the court where Maddie was under suspicion for the recent deaths. They found her guilty and started to drag her away as she shouted “You’re foolish beans! I’m innocent!” shortly after she was sent to death.
After all that happened at the court Calmly had a sudden urge to paint something. When he got home he dug out the essentials for what he would need and set everything up. Looking at the blank canvas and the vast selection of color choices he had, he grabbed a brush and began to paint anything that popped into his mind. Anything and everything that crossed his mind was put onto the canvas in some shape or form. Blues clashed with reds and colors you wouldn’t usually see together were used all across the canvas. Calmly was about to add his finishing touches when something made a loud noise in his backyard. He walked outside and didn’t see anything but felt hands wrap around his throat. Before he could turn or even make a sound... snap.
As night started to fall the now only doctor in town headed home exhausted from their work. As they approached their house they noticed something on the stairs leading to the door. As they got closer they realized it was a person. They quickly dropped everything and ran over hoping the person was still alive as they could see blood dripping down the stairs. Putting a hand to her throat the doctor found a pulse. “Ally, you’ll be alright now” said the doctor as they pulled her inside and made sure she would live to see another day.
