Whose idea was it to remove void as a way to get kills? That's incredibly dumb. Please, I want kills for knocking people of the edge ;-:

Technically, the void made the player burn up in the atmosphere (credits to @vertx) and you were the one who damaged (or punched them off) the cliff, so you did contribute to the death, but not directly, so that is why it is listed as an assist.

Honestly, if u melee an opponent into the void, it is more impressive than outright killing them in my opinion. And as a current fisherman kit main, who yeets casuals into the void, my kill count would double.

Void kills were originally counted as kills, like how I got killing spree daily back then cuz I would shoot an entire team in tsw into the void and get killing spree for that xD
But it seems more logical to count it as a void kill because you’re not directly killing them, you’re simply tossing them into the void and they die.
If you want kills so badly in sw/tsw, then just keep your opponent away from the edge when fighting them and don’t knock them off.

Honestly in some melee fight scenarios, yeeting people in the void takes more skill. I think it should be classified as a kill. Then, my kill count would be doubled, saying I know some good void yeeting techniques.

That’s why I get killing spree almost every single game back then xD
You push someone into the void and you get a kill
You hit them once and then they fall off later then you get the kill
Basically even the smallest infliction of damage on a player would give you a kill
It was that easy xD
