So I am getting my sixth grade shots tomorrow/today (it’s 12:00am where I am so technically today) and I don’t mind shots, but THREE Frickadoodley shots at once, wha??? I also don’t like blood, veins and that stuff, and when I think about that stuff I gag and almost pass out. So do these things hurt because I am a tough cookie, so if they hurt on me, then they earned the “Defeat The Boss” Medal. Do they or don’t they hurt? HELP!

edit: I got them today. First one barely hurt same thing with the second but the third hurt. Now I am just sore

I went through the shots _ year/s ago, so I can definitely tell you stuff from experience xD

I really thought I was ready for it, I was ready to take on the pain. That's at least, what i thought.

When it happened though, apparently it still caught me off guard. The adrenalin for me was crazy, right after the first shot my body reacted weirdly, i was suddenly super tired and the world was spinning. I literally couldn't stand.

Evem though I thought i was ready, apparently I wasnt.

So no, the pain wasn't near as bad for me as the adrenalin was. But that's just me.

I probably rambled for most of it (lol) but to be honest, the pain isnt near as bad as you tell yourself it will be. It feels a little weird, to be honest.
If it does hurt, its only for about 2 second until they take it out.

My little brother reacts badly to blood and veins and such, last time he got his little finger pricked, he turned pale and threw up.
If you react similarly to him, it might be a little tougher for you than others, especially from the way your body reacts to blood and such.t

I meannnn I had 4 shots at once one time so I could relate xD
Not sure if shots are different for you, but I get them on my shoulders and they just make my arm sore for a while
It depends on how sensitive you are or something, ofc I cried when I get shots when I was younger, but grew out of it since it seems only like a poke to me now, so 4 shots for me were easy as it only felt weird to move my arms around for a while

i've had 3 shots one after the other on a school vaccination day a few years ago
the needle itself going into you doesnt hurt, it's the vaccine that gets injected into you that creates the soreness for me. the soreness is only a dull light pain tho, so it's just that except three times

i normally look away into the distance when the needle has been prepared, because it helps calm my nerves before. i find that watching the needle going in is more terrifying xd
you'll be okay! just don't scream or anything xd

Srsly, it really doesn't hurt, it's just a little pinch, and ur all good! And plus, the doctors are quick and fast. And don't stress about it, your fine, it's gonna go by fast. Also shots help you to live, not to hurt you xDD

nah they don't hurt. actually I don't feel shots at all lol. at best I might feel a slight pinch but it never hurts or anything. I always get confused why others cry when they get shots lol. it only hurts if you make a big deal about it because you'll be shaking/crying and it'll cause the nurse to mess up

I agree, I feel like shots hurt more when you're a lot younger, 6th grade shots are just.... meh. You get it, get some special sticker, and you're done. Simple. I wouldn't worry, but good luck!

If you need advice, try thinking of a favorite food, movie scene, or think of something the moment you get the shot, that should help. I'm not good at all at giving advice, but hopefully this helps.

Keep calm!

They’re honestly just a little pinch and maybe a little burn that goes away in seconds and if you move whatever gets the shot around you won’t get stiff (like keep using your arm if you got it in the arm) which may also be a bit painful but that’s like next day after the shot

I got 5 vaccines in 1 day once, and ill tell u
Its not the needle that hurts, its the vaccine itself and if u ask the doctors they will say "it wont hurt" just to make u feel safe and also they usually keep the one that hurts the most for the end so u gotta prepare for the last one xD
