What are ways for crushes to look at you or for them to talk to you?

I’ve had the same crush for a whole year now and we’ve talked only 5 times

I (try to) use humor to get conversations going with everyone, not just crushes.
For them to look at you.... A lot of self confidence goes a long way. The more confident you are in yourself, the more you smile, the more likely you are to end up drawing his attention. Also, if I had a crush (I don't right now) I just go about my normal business and don't try to get his attention- I don't want to force something that isn't going to happen on it's own. If none of this works wear your tightest clothes and work it girl! (Jkjkjk)
