I need a few pointers please!

Hello! Currently (as I had stated in my introduction a few weeks back) I am a Discord mod for a featured Minecraft server! Before I was in this position I had applied multiple times to be an in-game mod but never got that position. I was thinking of applying again which I have started on but I hit a roadblock and I can't think of what to put in the application. So please if anyone could possibly give me a few pointers to help me possibly get this position I'd be very grateful!
