You installed the beta one. You can install 1.18 but their will no beta and you can play with your friends also search in google ( download Minecraft 1.18.10.27 apk for free) then go to the first website and download it :]

About beta: The beta is about testing the new stuff in minecraft and its not supportive in multiplayer nor server games all the server games
