I was wondering if I have YouTube Rank would I still be able to buy a rank such as emerald or diamond and keep the YT tag and the rank tag or will it be the bought rank instead of the YT tag?

No. If you bought the rank for you, you will lose your YT rank. That's why the YT rank is just a cool prefix tag in the lobby, is 100 subscribers, and that's all, no offence. But, anyway, good luck on getting the rank!
