actually, I only read one. but I've read ban appeals before and there's something I find very interesting about them. there's a few common threads between ban appeal threads. of course you will always find people apologising. there is no doubt that people will always apologise. but there's something else in ban appeals - "BrokenLens means the world to me". or something like that. people phrase things differently. but that's basically what a lot of people say.
and I find that really fascinating because this is an online community, filled with people who you can't really trust because for all you know they could be a pedophile or a creep, which was created from the dreams of one guy, and it kind of just blew up in our faces.
but people won't hesitate when they say that BrokenLens is their life. and that's really cool. because we've managed to create this community where people feel connected to. we've created this community of all sorts of people. and we're all here because we all like this place. most people say they like the community. or the games. but whatever it is, people enjoy being here. and we were just a random startup on a game that some people say is dying. but we're still here standing strong and proud. and that's pretty sick as frick.
and, yeah, sometimes we have mess ups. or sometimes people are unpleasant. but we always have people backing us up. even if it doesn't feel like it, you have friends. you always have someone who'll fight with you.
that's pretty cool. pretty nice to think about.
