I don’t care if I’ll get banned from forums, but someone needs to say SOMETHING

Recently, I watched a video that benjiplayzYT made, some of you may know him for making hive clutches and combos, he talked about broken lens and how the staff team are quite nice, but they take 0 criticism from the community. The maps are good, (good job to the build team) but vertex, the owner will not take any simple criticism at all. They abuse there power by banning people if they say “hey your server could use some wor-“ BANNED. I don’t own this server so I can’t do anything about it, but the people who try to get banned, youtubers who play on the hive say that your server could have some potential. BUT YOU DONT, YOU HAVENT HAD AN UPDATE IN A YEAR, YOUR HEALTH SYSTEM DOESNT EVEN REGENERATE. THE ENVIRONMENT FOR NEW PLAYERS IS TERRIBLE. Imagine you someone who wants to play mob wars, you join into a game and wait to get some iron while occasionally checking the shop for how much each item costs. You decide to test your pvp skills and kill, what is a “MOB” well you go do that, you successfully kill the mob and your low health you hide in a box and your not regenerating health. You get mad and quite the server. I know that people who have known me for a while think that I’m a nice person, I like to think I am. But the people who think that this server is ‘amazing’ are brainwashed. When was the last time you could actually combo someone? NEVER, when was the last time you didn’t have your ender pearls teleport you to the top of the map? NEVER. I’m sure vertex will ban me, but that’s just another example of him abusing his power. Like I said, this isn’t MY server. I’m going to move on with life and play a server that actually some what listens to there community.

Hey Dreamer,

I don't mind criticism (since everyone should be let to say what they want to say) unless it's in a hurtful way. If non of the staff listen to you, you can always talk to me about it and I'll listen to what you have to say! If you want you may friend me on the server, IGN eccedxntesiilast. I'll always listen to what you(and everyone) has to say and try to hopefully make the experience on BRLNS better. But if it's a problem such as lag, and hackers, I am dearly sorry but I can't do much about that sort of thing.

Nobody gets banned for constructive criticism lol, or calm criticism even. whenever people start fights or wanna be toxic, insult others, that’s wherever they’re banned. Nobody has ever been banned for rightfully sharing their opinions, but threads like this alone are enough to make us question how pure your intentions are considering you couldn’t even put it in a calm manner if people shared their ideas, suggestions, or opinions in decent ways we’d literally consider it or at least address it in someway or another. Nobody has really ever came to us with a genuine problem and put it in a genuine way.

nobody abuses their power either. If we feel it’s necessary to ban someone then they’ve done something against our rules that are publicly shown to the community, so if they break them it’s not our fault. You’re not gonna be banned either, though all the yelling was pretty unnecessary considering we would’ve listened to you regardless. Keep the thread nice and it’ll stay open. Got any genuine concerns? Feel free to contact us wherever.

We hope people are also able to understand that even though we’re constantly working on new things, that featured servers have way more help than we do. Vertx is a one man team that runs the whole server by himself. So naturally you can expect things not to happen as quickly.

I know, its just this subject has been brought up several times in the past and usually ends with a thread lock. (not because the staff aren't willing to listen, but because it often stirs up fights and people with really loud opinions.)

but I have been calm, I have been patient. I’ve felt so in the dark because I never had any say in this. I get that you have a bias cause your a member of the staff team. But all I wanted to do was actually have people question it, and maybe do something about it. Instead of looking at it then throwing it to the side, I played on brlns the other day and literally almost EVERY game was full of cheaters.

We have an incredible staff team that bans hundreds and hundreds of cheaters every single day, while there’s no doubt you’ve had games with cheaters - it’s not like we don’t do something about it, unfortunately we can’t be in every match there is. Which is why we hope Brlns Players are helpful enough to report rule breakers so we can all make the server a better place for everyone - I absolutely understand how frustrating hackers can be, but everyone does their absolute best at banning them every chance they get, sometimes you just have to understand that they can’t do it all. We constantly look for new staff members and ways we could improve our system. and yes, the watcher does in fact do a fantastic job, wherever it’s known to you guys or not. Room for improvement? It’s hard for staff members to type usernames as well sometimes, especially whenever most if not all of us have 500-1000+ friends (so you can imagine how crazy our chats are) - you could perhaps try using a screen recorder, or screenshot the username and then ask a staff member to spectate them, sometimes going onto the forums & asking a staff member on their profile grabs their attention quicker. Pvt them, friend request them, etc. I can promise you’ve never been purposely ignored by any staff member at all, and even so, maybe they were busy or doing something that required not paying attention to the chat, maybe they were busy spectating another hacker, etc. Though I can see why you feel that way.

sometimes the way people call for staff is confusing as well, maybe make sure your message (grm) is clear enough for staff to know there’s a hacker in your game & you need assistance. - not saying your messages aren’t or accusing you of not being clear enough, just a general thought.

Yeah, it’s sad that I have to leave all the friends I’ve made. I might come back for visits in the future but don’t get your hopes up. I really like the [removed) and other servers alot. It’s fun to come back and laugh with some old friends. Have a good day and I hope you enjoy the future of the server
