Hi, me and a few of my friends who all play hide and seek recently discovered that several spots on different maps were blocked off with barriers. This is frustrating because we really liked those spots and we’re not sure why they were removed. For example, on house map there were barriers placed recently that stop us from going on the shed, which is where a lot of us have been hiding for a long time. I understand that the shed was used for glitch exploiting, however the barrier blocks could’ve simply been raised which would stop the exploiting and allow us to continue hiding on the shed. If, for some reason, it was considered “too hard” a spot and that’s why it was removed, I disagree because there is one simple parkour jump to climb up to the roof. Another example would be on festival town where a lot of my friends hide. It was a more difficult parkour jump, however, it wasn’t impossible by any means and I’m confused as to why barrier blocks were placed to prevent us from going all the way to the end near that spot (I can go into further explanation in convo if location is unclear). I really hope you take this into consideration and remove/move the barriers because we would all greatly appreciate this. If it’s not possible, may we at least have an explanation as to why? Thank you! :):two_hearts:

I don't remember adding barriers on the Festival Town map. Is it the one in the yellow terracota wood building? I'm sure yes :lmao:
I added the barriers because some of the players ( seekers ) said it was too hard to get the hiders who were just watching the seekers failed to get them in that very op spot. I can remove the barrier blocks if you want, but not sure if I can though, cause I've never deleted barriers on my maps before :eggonface:

Okay thank you, I do understand how it could be considered op because when I played on it today I realized you can hit people off while being solid to one side, but thanks for removing the barrier blocks! I’m also wondering if anything can be done about the barriers placed on the shed (house map). I know it was used to glitch exploit but I would be happy to show you where a better spot to place them so that we can continue hiding on the shed. Thanks again !!! :mrgreen:

OMG YAY!! TYSMM :lmao::laugh:

As liv said earlier I was hoping you guys can also do something about the shed; feel free to pop in to hs anytime and if we’re on, we could show you a more reasonable place for the barriers!! :p:megacool:

I added the barrier blocks to the wall behind the shed so @Krilic wouldn't get banned again- I can't function properly without him in my grm :lmao:
I didn't realise I had messed up the hiding spot- if I put the barriers one block back (above the ground behind the fence) for that section behind the shed would it fix the issue?

omg yes that’s absolutely perfect!!!
Since the barriers are on the fence it blocks the spot, not allowing us to parkour onto the shed; putting it behind the fence yet a block higher is great! Tysm :laugh::lmao:
