Hello folks of the forums. I just saw the announcement on Discord and decided to pop back in and take a little stroll through memory lane. Lots of very memorable and extremely cringe moments I do have to say.

How's everyone been? I believe most of us were fairly young when we were active around these forums, safe to say now some of us are in or already graduated college, working and exploring different ventures in life. I'd love to know how everyone's been doing these days as this forum and server had been a big part of my childhood, as well as the people I shared them with.

I've included some screenshots I've found of maps I've made on the server (although my builds were pretty meh now looking back at it). Currently at my last year studying CS and doing 3D modeling and cad on the side.

The server shutdown while I was in college and I wasn’t super active towards the end.
I am sorry for anyone who has to view my very cringe old posts lol

In the meantime I have graduated college, I’m headed back for a master’s degree in oceanography next year if my visa gets approved. I don’t play minecraft much anymore BUT i have gotten back into reading. And scuba has completely taken over my life rn lol

its crazy to look at how everything changed, i would say some time in april 2019 is when i first joined the server then forums, and, 7 years from then is just insane, and its crazy now after 3 years of the shutdown to see everyone back again, and to see how much everyone changed and how everything has changed, and how much ive changed, we all have grew up, some of us graduated college, some of us MAY have already got married too, but the one thing that would never change is the child that lives inside us, which was awakened today when we all have reunited.

I used to be here between 2018-2020, then I left Minecraft and everything with it. I've been really busy in life now, it's as everyone here is saying, a corporate slave, fortunately I got some backup and I'll hopefully build a career out of digital products but for now I'm looking for a job on the side.

I wonder if there's anyone who still remembers me, my usertag was: Legend_blaze470 on the server and I had a lot of friends.

Absolutely did not ever see this coming. It's great to recognize so many different names on here in the last few hours.

I played a lot on this server between 2016 and 2019 and have very fond memories from it. I made so many different friends and even uploaded some Youtube stuff back in the day. I am in uni right now and even tho it's stressful I have really enjoyed life in the last couple of months. Got quite a bit into mountainbiking and winter swimming of all things. Very much enjoy seeing what I am capable of once I put my mind to it.

I don't play a lot of minecraft myself these days but strangely still watch a lot of it on Youtube even in my old age (also known as 23). Especially enjoy the people on Hermitcraft these days, something very relaxing about watching someone slowly build up a megabase piece by piece and the entire thinking process behind it. Reminds me more of an actual art project than anything else.

Also like everyone who knows me on here calls me Shelf despite the fact that I got that nickname like 8 years ago and have hardly interacted with anyone in recent years.

I believe you’re the only one who was me in the friend lists probably getting helped around in 2017 (I guess?) and then I believe you must be the first person to get the Builder Rank right??
