You pretty much go to the tool shop located between the Two Custom NPCs (the quick game guy and the return back to lobby guy), you use the buttons until you find the "Tool Items (or shop)" and select it, there are variety of items you can buy to give you an advantage, and of course just like kits , it costs coins

Btw kits don't have Ender pearls. You buy them separately (how to do that is shown above) and you could buy 1,2, or 3 Ender pearls.
