You guys probably all know what raids are in minecraft...
But I'm going to go through it anyway
Basically, this dude with a poster of himself and his fellow cult members come wander into your camp and bother you until you accidentally kill poster dude. Then, you get the bad omen effect, and figure oh I'm stacked enough to go through a raid lets do it. Here's a walk through so you might not die (im looking at you gator)
The big hippo unicorn things: take forever to kill, and it somehow got on top of the tree i was on. I nearly had a heart attack, because those things will almost one shot u
Axe people: theyre fast and powerful, but if you have a bow and some distance you're fine
Crossbow people: if you have a shield, easy peasy
Witches: these are a problem. You can't kill them with a bow, because they drink heal potions between every shot. They kept going under our roof, so I had this big brain idea to put water down and push them out to shoot them.... they climbed the water and this is when gator died. I only lived because they were focused on gator, so they didnt attack me until she died. I had to use a sword.
If the pillagers are out of distance, just shoot them and they will go towards you. If you go on a village roof, they go in the house so you can do this
Future tip: the one iron golem in the village was the mvp, he knew exaclty where the pillagers were and killed them easily. I think he died or got stuck somewhere (they cant swim, they sink). I think if you had 2 or 3 iron golem s, you wouldn't have to lift a finger
Things we could have done better: the house we burned down happened to be the house of our last villager....
Also we eventually found the last guy being pushed down a cave with water, so we killed him in a fun way
