How to know who is currently online in forums

People keep asking who are online in forums and ask the one who is online via spamming "Hey" "Are you online" Of course the one being messaged is disturbed and annoyed.So this is how to see online people

On the top left of the avatar of the online member should have a green thing this means that they are online.If it doesnt show it the player is offline

There is some people online in forums but didn't have a green thing and didn't show in "Member Online Now", because they toggled the "show online status".

If you want to know if they are in your thread drag down until you see "Users Viewing this Thread" then you'll see if they are there for see if they are online go to Forum then you see "Users Online Now"
