Mandolore was a neutral world during the clone wars, but the Pacifist ruler Satine Kryze was tetting attacked by Death Watch, a terrorist group who aimed to bring back the warrior ways of Mandolore.

Satine, and Kenobi had a romantic relationship, but, unfortunately, it came to an end when Maul brutally killed Satine in front of Obi-Wan’s eyes.

however, when Maul took over Death Watch, it split into two halves. The seprate faction, known as the Nite Owls, led by Bo-Katan Kryze, hoped to put an end to Maul’s rule, which they belived no outsider can rule Mandolore.

Near the end of the Clone Wars, Couracant was attacked, and General Grivous took Chancellor Palpitine hostage. Obi-Wan and Anakin were sent to rescue the chancellor, while Ahsoka Tano, now helping the Republic, was sent to Mandolore to help Bo-Katan take back Mandolore and capture Maul.
