Meanwhile, Darth Sidious, the person who ordered Nute Gunray to invade Naboo, sends his apprentice Darth Maul to take out the two Jedi and the queen.

Qui Gon meets Anakin, a slave child who seems to have only a mother and no father. His owner, Watto, refuses to repair the ship, but agrees to bet if Anakin wins the race.

Due to plot armor, Anakin wins, and the ship is repaired.

However, Maul arrives and engages the two Jedi in combat, and everyone escapes.

However, Jinn is killed by Maul, but Kenobi, in his rage, manages to cut Maul in half and send him down the reactor shaft.

Later, Padme, now a senator, is attacked, but she survives. Kenobi and Anakin, now older, are sent to protect her.

Kenobi engages Jango and his son in combat, but the father and clone manage to get away, while Anakin and Padme. Anakin, then receives visions of his mother, and the couple go to Tatooine to find her almost dead. Anakin, accidentally creates a meme, and Obi Wan tracks down Kango to Geonosis.
