How does the new watcher work???

So apparently Stressboy21 has been banned by the upgraded watcher for #431 Banned by reports
Urm can staff explain how this works? I'm afraid many good players will get banned by this too. I've seen stress, he's legit :/

Maybe if they get reported a certain amount of times , they get banned.

I'm pretty sure the watcher won't ban somebody just because they've been reported a lot.

Remember I mentioned before that when you report someone some data about the player is included in the report? My best guess, just from what I've seen with the reports so far, is that when one (or more) of the data points is much too high (like past the point of 'it could be lag') then the watcher will ban them.
That's just a guess though. I'll let you know once I find out for sure.

I don't know. We don't know much more than you guys do atm. I assume it's pretty accurate based on what I know/have been told, but I don't know if it's 100% accurate or not.

You guys are misinterpreting. They didn't get banned for having a bunch of reports (only two actually), they got banned because the data collected when they got reported indicated the use of hacks. At least that's what it looks like happened. But for sure it wasn't for having a bunch of reports
