Be honest.. Am I too strict? Everyone see's me as a bad member of staff but I'm kept on the team because I do good at my main role of banning players. I try to have a laugh sometimes but I don't take jokes about players saying that they will hack the server(which happens a lot)

Everyone says to avoid me and that I try to act too professional when I'm just trying to help not cause any kind of drama or destroy anyone's friendships. Just be honest. What is it about me that you think I need to improve on.

@vertx @edwjusti I would also like your opinions on this too because I know that you also have some things you might want me to stop doing aka looking at all your code and trying to go over my role.

No, it's mostly me who thinks your a bad staff member

But tbh u are strict

Eg one time this player got muted and didn't know/couldn't how to get on forums so he asked u for help since u are a staff member

Instead of helping him, u warned him to stop talking to u, and he kept asking u in trm (mm) and then u banned him

No one gets offended from your actions Hazard (more than likely). People think you’re strict is because you do your job professionally and with effort. This isn’t a bad thing at all, but its because of this that many people think you are the one to avoid and fear about because you imply the rules at all times whenever you are around, which would be doing your job professionally. In my opinion, I think you just need to be a bit more sociable, you’re not that strict at all through my perspective, you just need to become more social and interact with more people who aren’t staff, in a friendly way. Not that I’m saying you have terrible social skills, but I’m saying that being more social and open to other people would more than likely make you look less “strict”.

Kind of.. yeah.. Because sometimes you take your job a bit overboard. for example in a leaving thread that has swears the first thing you'd probably do it censor them. Then if the thread mentioned you in anyway, like apologising for something I don't know, someone would have to tell you "accepting their apology/whatever would be enough" or something. (I'm only saying this because you've done it before and it makes it seem like you have no respect toward the player or something ;-; you probably don't do it anymore esp. since leaving threads rarely includes swears and whatnot now but the point is sometimes you take your job a *bit* too seriously. And yes you're a goofball and fudging hilarious in discord but still on forums you don't open up as much and mostly you just do your job. That's probably why people think you're strict)

Honestly I don't see you often but I heard people in GRM talk about your strict behavior and questioning how you even became staff in the first place. I can bring up edwjusti telling another player to kill himself but I might bring up an argument and that leads to a thread lock.

In my HONEST honest Honest hOnEsT opinion, I actually think you do well at your job, I might never see the full story of something to come up with a conclusion, but I know staff is doing their job and if not why the hell hire them? As I said, I hear many talk about your behavior and question how you even became staff?

What I hope to say(because I never do understand if my sentences make sense) it doesn't matter. You're doing your job(doing it well especially) and at least people like you. If you're strict it's pretty much their fault for bringing their issues towards you(wait doesn't this counter everything I said?). What I care is staff is there and they're doing their job.

honestly, i think your a great staff who's trying his best. sometimes you're too strict and serious. try too loosen up a bit ;3

As I've said to you before on a direct message, I'm aware of a lot of people giving you hate, a bad impression or some sort of negativity because of your work attitude that is strict but personally I think this is completely normal and you don't have to change anything. All staffs (or even all other people) has different kind of leadership and authority that everyone should know and understand, and yours in a strict but surely one. You take your work seriously and that's all good because people know you are doing your job very well.

Now, we all know that Hazard is doing his job fine as far as I can see with his own work attitude that I've mentioned. Most people don't know Hazard as a friend, he's humorous and gets along with other people on our discord chat. That's because there's a difference between being a staff and a friend on Hazard, he can act like a staff to you but he can act as a friend on the right time and place.

That's pretty much all, you don't have to change anything Hazard but instead try to elaborate to people that you have different personality when it's work and as a friend. I can say you're a really cool person because you can handle this amount of hate, work and stress but still can have a good time and sleep (I wish you still do that XD), we appreciate your effort, hardwork and dedication to improve Brokenlens Network even though it's a voluntary job but you still do your best!
