I believe MYSELF that they would stay banned, if you really were banned by mistake you wouldn't bypass while waiting for the thread to be answered, that would be a dumb move.
Although, i do see reasons why they would be unbanned, like if they were an inexperienced player and didnt know not to bypass, i feel like some staff would pat him on the head and send him on his way with a warning not to do it again, and i think that'd be fine.
Although, if it was a veteran like idk Benjy then yeah he knew the rule and should stay banned.

I would reject the report because the player was banned for no reason. But I would remind him the bypass rule.
