American Revolution (1) Beginnings
1620 Mayflower: -Calvinists who were against the rules of the church of England, decided to emigrate from Plymouth, England to America to find religious freedom.
-Destination was Virginia but arrived at Cape Cod, because of the stormy weather
1621: -founded a new settlement in Massachusetts (Plymouth)
-later more colonies
1643- 1715: -Absolute rule in France, lasted until 1789 (French Revolution)
1754 - 1763 The French Indian War:
-Britain wanted land, fur trade and power
-Native Americans helped French soldiers to fight against Britain
- They lost and Britain got half of the land
1765- 1766 The Stamp Act: -13 British colonies had to pay for the war by paying taxes on papers, cards and official documents.
- groupe of radical men called "Sons of Liberty" was against it.
- Slogan "No taxation without representation" means: They wanted elected politicians who would represent them in the British parliament.
- Stamp Act was abolished
1767: -colonies had to pay duties for good like leather and tea, but it was another form of paying taxes for them.

I will continue later

History, we want to write it, not repeat it.
One of my favorite classes in school right now is World History, and I have found a lot more than just the dinosaur bones during my research.

July 14th is "Bastille Day." This is the day the French stormed the Bastille Prison in the French Revolution.
+ Motto was Liberty, Equality and Fraternity
+ Maximillion (His name was spelled different.) executed himself by people's domand.
+ Louis the Sixteenth was quite childish.
+ They showed that they are stronger than the king Louis the Sixteenth. (Search up March of Women if ya haven't.)
+ Tennis-Court Oath... In a Hand-Ball Court.
+ A Military General named "Napeleon" got involved.

The Statue of Liberty is made of Copper.

World War 1 was once named "The Great War."
+ Korea wasn't always split up between North and South
+ Korea was controlled by Russia before Japan won and took over Korea.

Leonardo Da Vinci could write with both of his hands, and write BACKWORDS. (He also drew concepts of the Parachute and other neat things YEARS before they were invented.)

Bannanas appearently had seeds in them...?

Got more to add to the list of facts? Then go ahead!
During the national day, the french are not celebrating the Bastille day (july 14th 1789), but the july 14th 1790 (the king made a biiiiig party, and he thought thay if he was doing it, the french would stop the revolution). :)
