if u hide and never come out, nobody would find u and the game would go either two ways: 1. U come out and kill the last person and win OR 2. The game ends with tie/draw. So it shouldnt be allowed unless in HnS.

exactly. personally, I think tucking yourself away from the action is OK as long as your IGN is visible (uncrouched)
