Hiders: Allowed or not allowed?

I have a question, are you actually allowed to hide during a match in OITC? It isn't stated clearly in the rules :/ . I'm asking this because some players hate it whereas some think of it as a strategy and this argument can lead to really hateful chat on the server, trust me. I hope you answer my question .

In Tnt tag is allowed because you can hide from the tager and get choosen anyway
