Bedwars is like a skywar game, you will be provided a block that generates stuff so you can sell to the villagers, you can buy blocks to build bridge, tools, weapons and more. You have a bed, and you need to break other players bed to eliminate them, they will keep respawn unless you break the bed, if your bed is breaked, then you cant respawn and thats why you need to buy blocks from the villager to cover the bed so players can have a long time to break it.
