So I was playing Minecraft with my friend the other day, and we were making animal pens. Back when we first started the world, we made one pen with all the animals (except we excluded sheep because my friend needed wool lol) and now we were going to separate them. My friend asked if he could just kill the pigs to make it easier (only have to transport chicken) and I said no because there were absolutely no pigs in our area, but my friend argued that pigs are useless because they don't give you anything other than meat. I think this isn't fair because pigs can also be a transportation method but my friend still thinks pigs are essentially useless

So my important question for you is this:
Do you think pigs are useless?

No, not at all, you can do useful things with them like ride 'em off the cliff! Maybe use them as a transportation system which is slower than sprinting!

They can be used for some redstone circuits though

Pigs are there for you when you need a friend. They listen well- they are very conscientious. They make wonderful piggy noises. They don't ask for much. They are very loyal (especially if u have a carrot). They are very trusting AND very trustworthy. They will keep all your secrets. If you sit on a saddled pig in a minecart NOT on a track you can drive the minecart around like a car albeit a very slow car. Most importantly they are the cutest mob in MC.

1. Food.

2. Achievement when you ride a pig and fell from 5 blocks. I really really really want to get that achievement but smh, i don't have any shaddle.

The meat can be used to mate wolves
make pork chops
become decoration for a butcher shop
become ridable with a carrot on a stick
they make awesome pets and just complete the whole farm
