HeLp

I get stage fright a lot too
So I can recommend a couple things...

Focus on yourself, no one else
Think about what will go right
Obviously mental practice your materials
Also, it’s okay if you make a mistake. You’re not perfect. Also, most mistakes go unnoticed by the audience since they don’t know how it’s actually supposed to go

I hope this kinda helps you xd
I’m also sure you’ll do great <3

always think of your most scary experience in your life and then realize, “this musical is not as bad as that experience I once had.”

Thank you, Icy!

Don't be afraid of the audience. You know yourself the most, and you know what you are doing on stage. Believe in yourself!

Also, what's the musical?
Thank you! It’s The Little Mermaid JR. I play Prince Eric.

:thinking-face: Hmmm... I usually get my friends to hype me up into an energetic mood xD Then we just keep repeating “bet” until I actually do it.

Plus, since you’re preforming three days, on the other two days remember that you did it once and you can do it again! Believe in yourself! \o/~~

i helped my ex friend get the courage to sing in front of our middle school students... i think closing your eyes is a good thing because you get into the emotion of singing and you won't be able to see people around you which makes you less nervous. hope it helps. think about the courage you have to perform and just be proud of yourself.

Just remember that they're not going to be watching you to see if you make a mistake- they're here to see your story. Lots of times if you slip up, people won't notice. If something happens, just play it off or improvise.

What musical are you doing? Ours was last week, so that kind of funny xD

Once I did a few magic tricks in front of quite a few people, and I messed up, but by improvising, I was actually able to make the audience think I meant to do what I did ;o

Just imagine everyone naked in the audience or you could do this one thing that one of my teachers taught me: think that everyone is a fool and that you know and are better than them.

you can try speaking in front of a mirror and always take a deep breath before you start speaking to the audience. treat them like your besties who you talk to basically everyday

hope this helps :)
