Hey. Ive been hearing that if you share your story you are more likely to deal with depression. Yesterday I was running around with my cousin near our school, then he was rammed into by this guys car. I tried to grab him out of the way and ended up being hit by the car myself.
He is in the hospital and i am very sad. On top of this, im not very "popular" at school even though im not one of those nerds, ugly ones, idiots, or anything. Ive been dealing with depression for around a month and i finally turned to the forums, even my girlfriend couldn't cheer me up, and im not popular on the forums either. I tried to share this story on my twitter where im pretty known (2k followers), but i guess all my followers are inactive which made me even more depressed. Please help me. I don't know what helps with depression because i can't afford a psyciatrist or whatever its called. This is my story.

I mean we can't help you- or give you the help you need but if its one thing I know is that many forums people here deal with depression. And I'd say try talking with your doctor/therapist. They are more suitable for this kind of stuff, let alone are educated on it. I really do hope you get the help you need before it gets worse :two_hearts::pleading:

also, i'm terribly sorry that you're going through this, but i'm not exactly sure what we could do to help? i do wish you find a way to cope or to feel better, but i am not really a therapist so i can't do much to help. but yeah if you can't afford a therapist, maybe music? you could write down your feelings? writing songs? cooking? sports? just try to find something that helps you cope or at least sort of keeps you busy so you don't get stuck within your own thoughts, because sometimes being stuck with your thoughts is the worst option. if these feelings still stay, you might eventually have to find a way to get a therapist for the safety of your health.
