This does look like reach hacks, but we need to be absolutely sure. I only just learned that split control gives you longer reach than non-split control. Can we wait to see what other staff members say, please? And thank you for reporting :D

It's not spilt, you can see that he wasn't even looking at her and still hit her...
And reach hacks don't exist anymore because not all hacks are compatible with block launcher (like reach isn't)
