Here's a simple forums idea that came in my mind. Why don't threads auto-lock if there hasn't been a reply in a month (30 days)? This is just a simple idea that can prevent people replying to old threads

Maybe it should depend on the section it's in? 'Cause replying to old threads in Off-Topic isn't a big deal, is it?
Aside from that, it sounds like a really good idea to me.
