Glitch in tnt run

So I kept seeing people just standing still in tnt run and not falling so I stopped moving and discovered that the block doesn't break under you if you stand still. So this is a glitch people are using to not fall. Hopefully it can be fixed. Btw I only did it for a moment just to see if that was what was happening then I made myself "die" to come here and let you guys know.
