Tell me this,

Do you think it was right for me to ask my mom to try and get me in a different homeroom? I told her about this teacher several times and how I didn't like the vibe he gave off. My mom wanted me to give him a chance because she thought all seventh graders were in his class but I heard my friends are in different advisories. I feel really guilty but I need someone elses opinion. Do you think I should have asked my mom to email the principal, or not? Sorry if this was a waste of your time.

Only if the teacher actually did something pretty offensive towards you. In the future you’re going to have to deal with a lot of people you don’t like, whether at work, in high school, or in college. Just focus on your work and you’ll be fine :thumbsup:

He embarrassed me once I don't remember how though. I think it was show something I did wrong once. And believe me, I understand that. But for now, I just want to be happy and excited for the next school year.

Thank you for your opinions. It honestly makes me feel less guilty about doing something I think I should have done. Also once he got angry that my class called him sexist sometimes. He was like "oh yeah I know you guys called me sexist so I'm not being sexist now", and he said it in a mean way.
