Gif won't load

Sometimes when I try and put in a gif for my signature, it just shows this:

Why does it do this?
 
Do you have the gif itself saved in files or a photo album?

Here’s a way you can get the url:

1. Go to any thread or conversation and go to the place when you write replies.
2. There will be 3 options: Post reply, upload a file, more options...
3. Click on the “upload a file”
4. Select the photo/gif you want and upload it.
5. It will load as a thumbnail like thing under the place where you write replies.
6. There will be a link next to the photo. Copy that.
7. Paste it into the image box.
