Getting Banned for looking at old Threads?

I mean look , one time I got banned for this For just going only friends profile page
This After that I fought "why is this important?" "Is it helping the server?!?"

If you're one of the Mods or admins tell me why is this important. (I just don`t understand this please contact me)
