Well, I rebooted my iPad and it's a little better. Still does this sometimes though. Very annoying bug, I hope that it'll be fixed in 1.2

I just have the regular texture pack, and I don't play around with the settings so they should be like default.

Possibilities:
Wifi - of course
It could be because many people in your area are also using wifi, weakening the signal.
Minecraft -
I have no idea wether there's something wrong with it. (Maybe too much mb idk)
