So, a lot of people have been wondering, why do some games not give kills on your stats while you kill people? The answer is, they aren't real kills. They don't go on your stats if the player doesn't actually die according to the "real Minecraft logics"

The Sheriff in Murder Mystery indeed uses a non-minecraft logic system, but since Murder Mystery is one of the games that give kills, they do.

They do, and the murderer/sheriff get's kills.

Since you die by swords, You get a death.
Hoewever yeah, it's strange that sheriff deals kills and deaths, but that's just how MM works.

Just adding on to your post, last I checked games that don't give kills also don't give deaths. For example: if I lost at TNTRun, I'm technically dying but I don't get a death added to my stats, only a loss.

Oh yeah that is true, still excluded so because otherwise players can be confused and it's actually not possible to get kills on them, so yeah.
