An infinite survival world/factions (or even skyblock, but mainly towards first 2.)
A game that is long-term, and you can always come back to.
Yes, I know there is some issues with things like:
* Ranks
* Wins / loses
* currency
* duping/exploiting/hackers.
Ranks & Currency:
Ranks are obviously bought for in-game benefits as well as to support the server, these ranks could get kits for this game, for maybe the same price or a bit higher than a non-ranked player, with slight benefits, like better armor, or a better sword.
Currency should be different from BL's normal coins.
This currency should be made by getting kills or selling blocks/ores.
but here is why I say it should be separate:
Dupers.
duping coins that would be in BL coins would mean they'd have it for all games, leading to disadvantages and exploits.
obviously anyone caught duping should be punished, but the coin value would be different on here than normal BL's coins, but you'd earn both currencies on kills, to be fair.
Since this is a large-scaled map, moderation would have to be a lot tighter, and good spawn protection would be needed, as well as a /warp command, to prevent spawn killing for anyone new to the game.
SURVIVAL OR FACTIONS?
Survival would be classic vanilla and wouldn't require any kits, you start from scratch, ranks get no benefits.
Factions would be team-play as well as part normal survival, you'd be able to get kits by purchasing them every time you want the kit, if it's not the default kit, Factions could have trading at spawn, as well as a faction leaderboard.
Factions would have the usual member, officer, leader type thing, as well as a plot they can claim as their base once they get enough faction points. (or power.)

If you have any suggestions, feel free to have a debate on all of this, I know chances are, this wouldn't be a future thing, but I thought the concept of some long-term session game would be a nice change for once.
Factions would be more complex, but just vanilla Survival would be a lot fairer and user-friendly for the younger players of the server.
I just can't think of a way wins/losses would be put in, but it could be a change for a game, one that doesn't make you have a losing streak.
