The soldiers rushed their way down a hallway in an Opposer base and opened fire on the Opposer soldiers, with arrows tipped with poison.
“Fall back, fall back!” The lead Opposer soldier yelled as the soldiers allied with the fruits pushed forward. The OS Osaka, also known as OHC-13, was at the port, with Opposer troops getting onboard. The fruit soldiers came out and fired a hail of arrows as the medics rushed soldiers onto the ship, and soldiers returned fire with guns. The main cannons on the Osaka returned fire as it left port. Several Fruit soldiers hijacked a cannon and fired on the Osaka. One of the main batteries on the Osaka, turned, and returned fire, instantly reducing the gun to shrapnel and killing the crew. The fruit soldiers cheered as the ship sailed into the sea.
“Now that we have a main base, we can finally try to push the Opposers out and replace them with us.” @StormyLyn said, as her fellow generals formed around the table.
“What about Bop’s ships? Those things are monsters that would easily destroy the few ironclads we have.” @lucas1901 replied.
“We either pump out more ironclads, or we make bigger ships.” @ilikethaifood said.
“But the Brokenlens high council recently imposed the Oceans Naval Rule, which states that the building of ironclads must be under 100 blocks. Bop’s ships are much bigger than that, but those ships were imported from his world, so they technically weren’t made in Brokenlens, so it doesn’t violate the rule. Plus, the Finale and it’s escort fleets are renown for their firepower and their will to protect Brokenlens, and if they were kicked out, the public would go into an outrage, so they’re allowed.” @Neptunerose_ added.
“Then we pump out as many ironclads as we can. And Thai, you’re our best engineer. Go to a private world, and with the help of our workers, make a ship that can stand up to the Finale. If we don’t do so, we’re screwed. Stormy ordered. Generals filed out of the room and soldiers stood guard as preparations were made.
The Finale was anchored off the Brokenlens Hub, along with the Ise and the Musashi.
“What’s the status of the Osaka? Bop asked a radioman.
“Not much heavy damage inflicted on the cruiser, but there are many wounded soldiers, who took hits from poison tipped arrows. The cruiser is headed this way as we speak.” the radioman answered.
“You think there might be a pursuit?” Bop’s clone asked.
“Nah. They would be committing suicide trying to stand up against us. All they have are several ironclads, but I have a feeling they’re building more. We don’t have allies, but we have tech. We set sail for Home Base tomorrow. Tell the technicians there to get ready for major upgrades.” Bop ordered.
