Free ranks from votes?

Ok this is simple and I'm sure a person had done this same thread but, yeah I don't care, better to make sure rather to never know, so apparently, it is possible to get ranks from voting....is it true?

Also best as a suggestion but decrease expiration date by 50%

As i am unsure about this i cannot confirm it. Although it says this in the command when you type /vote it might not be setup as the server is still in BETA meaning that it could or could not be true in an updated version of the server core.
