Hey so I have a suggestion for locking threads. I feel like when a staff locks a thread, it should somehow explain why it was locked, because I’ve seen many threads created and was locked without any reply. Idk, just thought it might be useful.

I think this is a pretty good idea given how it would help improve the transparency and communication of the staff team with the wider community. It's possible that there might be issues with handling large numbers of threads or with specific cases although introducing this as part of the process would serve as quite valuable in my opinion.

I forwarded this thread over to the team to see how that is assessed although that does not guarantee that it will be introduced in our process for how we review forum threads.
