Woah woah woah, builders are staff! Hell, they work harder than the other staff. I mean that if builders has colored names on the “Players online” thing, it would make new players believe they can help them with password resets, ranks, reports ect.

You should absolutely have emerald powers and that’s not what I was saying at all.

So... Builders aren’t staff? Why? How?
Sorry, this is just kind of a trigger for me.

If builders aren’t part of staff, then what are we? Normal players who just have Emerald privileges and access to the build server? Do you even know what “staff” means?

People really need to realize how much time and devotion we put into making these maps. People need to realize how underrated and how we are treated in this community.

We are always told, “Builders don’t do anything but build.” “Builders aren’t staff, they can’t kick, ban, mute, etc.” “Builders don’t deserve Emerald perks because all they do is JUST build!”

According to many people here on the server, we don’t deserve anything except acess the build server. We don’t even deserve something as little as a colored name on the forums because we aren’t even considered as staff?!
We can’t even be tagged for simple questions?

Hell, even Hazard has said, “Considering that she is only a builder...”

Everyone has to realize how poorly us, builders, are being treated.

We take hours out of our day that we could’ve done something else with. Rather than doing something else with our free time, we build for you guys to play on. In all honesty, of how much work we put in, it took me five to seven hours to build a single tree, even with world edit.

Sure, all other staff roles are great.
Helpers and up protect the server from rule-breakers.
Vertx is the reason this server exists.
Builders.? Build. We use our creativity and imagination to create these amazing maps for people to play on.

We do this voluntarily.
We don’t get paid.
We are not forced to build.
We build simply because of our love for the server.

Continue treating us like this, we’ll have no more motivation to build for the server. If not the whole team, at least me.

Apologies for my rant, but I believe people should start respecting builders more.

Make that more clear next time.
Of course we are staff, but you simply could have said that new players may assume that we, builders, are moderators rather than "people will think builders are staff." It made you sound as if builders were simply not staff.

Besides, helpers can't help players with password resets or ranks either, so why would they get to have a colored rank?
Of course, helpers do help more with reports and such as it is their goal, or mission, to do so as a helper, but I still don't believe that should be enough reasoning for them to get a colored tag on the forums.

No hate to helpers, absolutely, but based off of what you're saying, then neither builders or helpers should have a colored name in the forums.

I wasn't referring to you when I said that. I was referring to an old thread back in January when someone said that builders don't deserve Emerald perks because we have no lives and we JUST build for the server.

You build the maps we play on. Murder Mystery, BowSpleef, One In The Chamber etc. and still we don't appreciate you guys. If I were to guess I'd say it was about 40-50 maps. And if it takes you 6 hours to build a tree?!? Then,you work more than helpers. I see neither helpers nor builders on the server but helpers mostly play until they see a hacker or unfair player. Which means they are having fun until duty comes. You guys work and work and work. There is no playing while building

All builders out there, thank you for the AMAZING work you did for us. Every time I enter a map when a game begins, I will think you you guys that built, and are building more maps. Thank you!
