Minecraft Flower pot glitch

If you punch a flower pot it turns into a update dirt block. I’m not sure if this is because of the new mc update and If it’s already being fixed.

It's just a visual glitch

That's an update block, which is basically a block that is being updated into a new block. Ex. A moving slime block being broken will give you an update block. Not sure what a flower pot is supposed to be turned into...
