FlameStaff Timer

On the Hide & Seek server, I've noticed that the FlameStaff timer and the game round timer don't really match.
For example, I would use my flame staff 1:30 into the game.
When the timer says 1:46 (the 6 is not a typo, I try to wait an extra second), I would try to use it again, and it would tell me I need to wait about 4 seconds.
If necessary I'll get screenshots of this.

Flame Staff is a tool in hide and seek. It works as a way to benefit hiders and seekers. Hiders have it and they can use the flame staff to gain exp and money but it makes noise and makes flames appear above the users head, which helps the seekers as well but puts the hider at risk in return for 15 coins and 15 experience points.

This has happened to me numerous times as well too :/ I'm pretty sure it's only because of the lag in the server as a countdown on a server would most likely not be mistaken in keeping track on the time

It is caused by lag. Well, at least it was for me when it happened.

Oh, it's just the lag? Okay then. It's just that it's always the same amount of time, twenty or twenty-one seconds on the game's countdown, for me, so even though I know when I can use it, it's a bit irritating to see that.
I couldn't see why the countdowns would have a problem, but since the actual time taken is so constant it made me wonder if it was some kind of mistake.
