Not a bad idea! But it should be unlimited fireworks for like dec 30th until Jan 3rd so ppl can see it for some days!

:l it depends on the quantity of the fireworks. As one of those ppl whos lagging on the hub, that's not good :<

Tiny event add-ons like this is what I would love, sure there are different timezones but it doesn’t hurt to celebrate a little. 
Maybe make a firework section at the shop a couple days before and after New Years. Let players pick out what color/flags/shape they want (for super cheap, it’s a party ofc!), and to reduce lag set a limit to maybe 3-5 fireworks a day per player until the event ends.
To keep the lag more spread out rather then huge amounts of lag in one place, maybe allow players to carry their fireworks to whatever lobby they want.
Not everyone’s New Years is on January 1st, but if not just have fun with some sporklez!
